Cocktail Sausage in Orange Sauce

  • 1/2 cup sugar.
  • 4 1/2 tsp cornstarch.
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves.
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon.
  • 3/4 cup orange juice.
  • 2 tbs cider vinegar.
  • 1 package (16 oz.) miniature smoked sausage links.
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped.
  • 1/2 small onion, sliced.


  1. In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, cloves and cinnamon. Gradually stir in the orange juice until smooth. 
  2. Stir in vinegar. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened.
  3. Add sausages, onion and cilantro. Cook and stir until heated through.
